Gels represent lighting gel materials, for changing color and diffusing light.

  • Gels can be added to Fixtures and Frames

  • All accounts have a standard set of built-in Gels to choose from

    • Clear, ND, CTO, CTB, Plus- and Minus-Green, and white diffusions

  • Pro accounts have access to 2000+ more Gels through the Cloud Library

    • Lee, Rosco, GamColor, Chris James, Matthews

Using Gels

For Fixtures:

  • Add Gels from the diagram bottom actions, or the Patch view

  • Gels are displayed as part of the name label

  • All Gel labels can be hidden (together) in Layers > Types

For Frames:

  • Add Gels from the diagram bottom actions, by switching over from the rag materials

  • Frames display the Gel as its fill color, including transparency

Adding and managing Gels

  • Click the “Add Gels” button to search for new Gels

  • Tap the Gel to add it to the item

  • Hold and drag to re-order added Gels

  • Tap an added Gel to view its information, and the (-) button to delete it

  • Right-click or press-hold to show a menu where you can copy and paste Gels between items
