Favorites

So, we've all been on big projects where you're adding the same things to your diagrams over and over again. And this is a great example of it. A and B camera, male lead and female lead. They're in scene after scene. And up until now, it's been a little bit of a drag to add them. You have to go to add item. You have to, you know, bring in a camera or best case scenario, you're bring it in from here. You're renaming it. You're changing the color. You're doing all these things. And this is taking time. It's not fast. And then when you want to go start a new diagram, you have to copy it from here. And then you have to go over to your other diagram and then paste it here. It's not terrible, but it could be better. And that's what we did. So now we have favorites. Instead of having to add the same things over and over again, you have these up here, these quick items that you can add quickly. Now you can add your own. There are a couple ways to do it. one, select an item, you can rightclick and just add favorite right here. It's going to add it to the next available slot. And if you look up here, if you click that, you can see there are nine slots available. We'll get to that. We'll get to why that is later. Um, you can also open the details. You can add favorite there. Or here's the fun part. You can drag it up and choose which slot you want to put it in. I'm going to put this in number one because it's a cam. So now we have a cam and you see that when I hover over it, you can see that's number one. So now I can add it to the diagram just like these by hitting the number one key and it's going to go where I put it. One, it's going to go where I put it. Let's get rid of those. Now I can do the same thing with Bcam, but now that you know they are keystrokes, if you hit command or control and the slot you want. I want Bcam and slot two. Command two. Now it's there. And you can also just drag these in the same way you do other things. So we're going to do the same with this. We'll do three for that. We'll do four for that. And now I have some favorites set up. I can collapse that. So it just goes down to this. And you can see everything about them up there. Now you might say, "Oh, you know what? I wanted to wanted to do this. Let's just call her number one." And I want to change the name up here, too. You can just replace it. So I have this selected. I hit command 4. And now I see it's number one. Go ahead and do that. And now they're just they're so fast to add. You can add them in wherever you want. And you can see that everything about it follows it. The um the name that you give it, the colors that you give it. And what's great about these is that they're shared within a whole project. So, if I go to another scene in the same project, I still have my favorites. And it's going to be so fast to drag them on and set it up. So, that's favorites. Hope you enjoy.
